How to perform a search
GigHighway allows people to search for, find, contact, and book world-class entertainment and vendors (event service providers). Here are the steps:
1. Perform a search by entering the type of entertainment or vendor you're looking for, as well as the location of your event, and then click "SEARCH."
2. Browse the results and compare the various entertainment options or vendors by studying photos, videos, audio samples, descriptions, and reviews of their services.
Why use GigHighway for your event needs?
Clients use GigHighway because they know they can find world-class entertainment and event service providers easily and quickly. Plus, GigHighway allows direct contact between potential clients and vendors and does not charge a booking fee or commission, unlike other booking services, thereby allowing vendors to charge less and clients to pay less.
How to request quotes
1. Perform a search by entering the type of entertainment or vendor you're looking for, as well as the location of your event, and then click "SEARCH."
2. Browse the results and compare the various entertainment options or vendors by studying photos, videos, audio samples, descriptions, and reviews of their services.
3. There are three ways to request a quote from a vendor:
A. Contact the vendor directly through the contact information listed on their profile page.
B. Click the "REQUEST A FREE QUOTE" button.
C. Click the "SAVE" button to add a vendor to your "FAVORITES" list, which allows you to request quotes for multiple vendors all at once. NOTE: Vendors that are "SAVED" to your FAVORITES list can be accessed by clicking the red heart icon at the top of the page. The number next to the red heart is the number of vendors you've saved to your FAVORITES.
4. After you send a quote request to a vendor, they will contact you by email or phone, depending on what contact information you entered when requesting the quote.
5. Once a vendor replies to your quote request, you will be able to deal with that vendor directly. When you have reached an agreement with a vendor, you will be able to book their services directly with them, eliminating the need to pay a commission to GigHighway.
Free user accounts are required when requesting quotes or leaving reviews. Requiring a free user account helps to prevent spam. The first time you request a quote or leave a review, you will be asked for an email and password. These will be used to automatically create your free user account. Once your free account has been created, a confirmation email will be sent to you to confirm that your email is correct.
How to login to your free user account
Once your free user account has been created and verified, you will be able to login at any time, request quotes, and leave reviews. Simply click the "LOGIN" button at the top of the page and enter your email and password.
What is in your free user account?
Displayed in your account will be the reviews you've left for vendors you've hired, the quote requests you've sent to vendors, as well as the ability to change your password or email.
How do I pay the vendor I've hired?
Once you have chosen the perfect entertainment option or service provider for your event, all financial arrangements will be handled directly between you (the client) and the entertainer or vendor. Most entertainers and vendors will want a deposit to hold the date, some will require payment in full before the event date, some will take personal checks, some will take credit cards, etc. All payment details will be handled directly between you (the client) and the entertainer or vendor. This means you'll never have to pay GigHighway a commission to book your entertainment or event service provider.
Does GigHighway provide contracts?
GigHighway does not provide contracts. Please ask your entertainer or vendor to provide a contract. Contracts are important and can protect both parties.
I want to hire a vendor. What do I do?
Contact the entertainer or vendor and tell them you've decided to hire them. Make sure you have agreed on a price and that they are available for your event on the correct date and at the correct time.
Does GigHighway charge a booking fee?
No. GigHighway works differently than other leading booking services. Instead of complicating the client-vendor relationship by running everything through GigHighway, GigHighway allows clients and vendors to negotiate directly, thus eliminating GigHighway as a middleman. This means no hidden fees or commissions from GigHighway, as well as a smoother experience for both clients and vendors. It also means potentially lower prices for clients when booking entertainers or vendor services, because no commission from GigHighway is tacked on.
After my event, how do I leave a review for my entertainer or vendor?
1. Search for the entertainer or vendor and go to their profile page.
2. Click the "REVIEWS" tab.
3A. If you already have a free user account, click "Login to review." Once you are logged into your free account, navigate to the vendor's profile page, click the "REVIEWS" tab, and leave a review. You will also be asked to rate the vendor (from 1 to 5 stars).
3B. If you have not yet created a free user account, sign up for one. Once your free account has been created, navigate to the vendor's profile page, click the "REVIEWS" tab, and leave a review. You will also be asked to rate the vendor (from 1 to 5 stars).
NOTE: Only authentic clients are allowed to leave reviews for vendors. To leave a review, you must first create a free user account, which is very quick and easy. The purpose of requiring a free user account is to help prevent spam reviews.

Is the GigHighway site secure?
Like other reputable online websites, GigHighway uses SSL to protect personal information, the same protection offered by most financial institutions for their online clients.
Are cookies used by GigHighway?
GigHighway.com uses cookies to keep track of certain items for the purpose of improving the browsing experience. For example, cookies are used to keep track of your "FAVORITE" entertainers or vendors. It also makes it possible for you to click the back button in your browser to return you to the results page you were previously viewing.
